Here’s the caveats:
1. First time running it
2. Operator had never run that controller before
3. Had some dirt and condensation issues
4. We had no idea what to expect.
With that, we can still see huge potential with this camera, and with the one we’re hoping to put at center ice.

Wow, that looks awesome. Great for face-offs and rushes into the zone closest to the camera.
I think once the operators get used to using it more, learn what works best to focus on, appropriate zoom levels, etc, that the Dasher Cam will be a very nice addition…as long as it is not over used.
When can we expect to see an attempt at a “puck cam” like the one HBO is using?!
Seriously, though, the dasher cam was great! The controls'll come around, like everything else that takes time. I'm amazed at the picture quality, though. It's outstanding!

I caught one shot from it on the Mitz during the game last Tuesday. I thought it was brilliant.
